The rugged keyboard series is designed and tested to meet MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-461G standards, providing users with a highly reliable input device for various critical applications. It features a high-specification rubber dome key mechanism that ensures excellent tactile feedback and a lifespan of 10 million actuations. Each key is finished in black and laser-etched to allow for illumination in low-light environments.

As standard, the backlighting is powered via USB, but it can also be externally controlled by the customer’s PWM signal as part of a custom product offering.

This keyboard is available in a conventional QWERTY layout, similar to commercial keyboard products. Alternatively, the number and positioning of the key switches can be tailored as part of a custom solution. Its unique aluminum construction provides outstanding impact strength, electrical shielding, and environmental protection.

This keyboard offers a robust solution for the most demanding key input applications. Like all Byond-tech products, it can be customized to meet your exact needs, including the integration of different color or NVIS backlighting, adding or removing keys, various mounting arrangements, or incorporating a pointing device.
